Genealogy

Founding Librarian Margaret Waring established an area renounced genealogy collection that Comanche Public Library continues to house. 

While the library's permanent building is undergoing renovation and expansion, the library only has our local genealogy collection available. The library's Comanche County materials are currently available, in addition to some additional local materials. Our state- and nation-wide collection is currently in storage and unavailable. 

The library is also connected to Comanche's Genealogy Club, which meets monthly on the first Saturday of each month. Please see our library calendar page for additional information on these meetings.
